The company name was founded by the current owner’s great grandfather in 1926 and has continually operated since. Originally focused on historical renovation projects, the heart and soul of the business has always been fine craftsmanship.

Fritz Eisenbrandt took over the company name in 2009 and expanded its services. Our team prides itself on building in an authentic manner with a nod to traditional architecture. We welcome the opportunity to work in details that aren’t found in most projects and use natural resources whenever possible. We’ve even milled trees that needed to be removed into mantels for the estate.

Our pride in celebrating history, while integrating modern amenities and accommodating the unique needs of the homeowner, shows through in every project.

“The project manager and crew were approachable about little things that came up and always found a solution for our problems, big and small.”

Fritz Eisenbrandt, Owner

With over 20+ years of experience in new construction, high-end renovation, and energy efficient building techniques, there are few things Fritz has not seen during his time in construction. The man with the vision, Fritz is the brain behind all designs - but don't be mistaken, he's a craftsman at heart and can build anything with his hands. While not on-site Fritz can be found hanging in the woods of North Baltimore County with his black labs Louie and Addie.

Ben McGuirk, Project Manager

Ben is the company’s top project manager for every project. We like to call him our Swiss Army Knife because he does it all. A local guy, Ben grew up in Bel Air, Maryland and started his career in construction in 2015. He’s a master carpenter and has learned most all trades. There’s no construction question that Ben doesn’t know the answer to. He started with Eisenbrandt Companies in 2016 and has been on the front line for our projects ever since. A crowd pleaser, Ben is everyone’s best friend and someone you can always count on. From scheduling, trade management to client satisfaction, Ben keeps production operations in order with a smile on!

A born and raised Baltimorean, Tony comes to EC as an UMBC and Gilman alum. Studying the visual arts and growing up with construction, Tony has a creative and thoughtful approach to his tasks in the field. Under Ben’s supervision, he assists with day-to-day operations of our projects to ensure the sites are in tip-top shape. You can always count on Tony for comic relief at any point of day - he’s a true team player and knows how to boost the field morale!
